There is a corkboard in the Entrance Hall with pieces of paper crammed onto it and secured with pins. Make sure you read the rules here before joining. Staff will also announce special events here, so check back often. If you have a suggestion, stick up a notice and we'd be happy to take a look.

| North Wing |
| The Entrance Hall
The Entrance Hall is the first room you see when you open the front doors. Four banners hang from the ceiling, each displaying different house colours. There are even four hourglasses with shards of ruby, sapphire, emerald and topaz to show the house point total. Corridors lead out of the hall to all over the school.

| The Canteen
Hungry? Head down to the canteen. There are a wide variety of choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and they provide free snacks if you get hungry in between. So grab a tray, collect what you want and find a seat on one of the many tables.

| The Hospital Wing
Imagine locking a bunch of teenagers up together. Sounds risky? Now make them all troubled outcasts and give them extraordinary powers. Now you see why we need a Hospital Wing.

Come here to ask any questions about the school. It's off-limits to students unless they have a good reason to go in, so naturally it's fun to sneak in and play tricks on the secretaries. But be careful, they get very angry if they catch you!

| The Observatory
A huge glass dome right up in the highest tower of the school. Because there's no light pollution on the island, on clear nights the entire sky is full of stars. It's absolutely unreal. As well as being interesting, it's also very romantic. If you're lucky, you might see a meteor shower!

| The Computer Lab
The computers in this room are updated to better and more recent models every year. There are tables dotted throughout the room, all with computers in every available space. This room is open to students to come in and play games, print off assignments and access the internet.

| The Art Studio
Creativity is encouraged at ESM, so all students have access to a room full of everything from crayons to clay. The equipment available is seemingly limitless. A teacher comes in during class periods to clean up any mess, but you are expected to clear away when you're finished.

| The Music Room
Ever fancied yourself as a musician? Hone your skills in this soundproofed room. The storeroom has everything from guitars to flutes to trumpets, even bagpipes are on the shelves. If you can play it, we have it.

| The Library
The school library is massive. Shelves line the walls, crammed full of books on every subject from romantic fiction to advanced calculus. If they don't have what you want, then what you want doesn't exist. Feel free to borrow as many books as you like, but make sure you return them when you finish reading.

| Empty Classrooms
Lessons don't run all the time, so naturally some of the classrooms have to be empty every now and then. Students can use these rooms for practising their powers, privacy, finishing a project, anything they feel like.

| Corridors
The school is filled with a maze of twisting and turning corridors. Only the most adventurous students (with the most free time) have explored everywhere. Be careful not to get lost. Better hurry, or you'll be late for class!

| Bathrooms
Come here to 'relieve yourself', or just get some privacy. Cubicles line the walls, some with toilets and some with showers. The taps are automatic, so all you have to do is put your hands under and they squirt water. Same with the soap. You're going to have to get creative to flood this bathroom!

| South Wing |
| The Swimming Pool
The school swimming pool is huge, with diving boards stretching up to immense heights. Only the bravest dare jump from the top. The bottom of the pool often has coins, buttons and other trinkets scattered everywhere. A great place to have some fun with your friends.

| The Spa
This is the favourite haunt of girls, but boys are welcome too. Mud baths, massages, hot tubs, saunas, everything. Come here to unwind after a long, stressful day.

| The Gym
Feeling a bit unfit? Right next to the spa is the gym. It has weight-lifting, treadmills, rowing, everything. The perfect place to build up those muscles.

| The Sports Hall
The Sports Hall has a number of different courts with lines painted on them. It can be used for basketball or netball, and has a net you can put up to play tennis or volleyball. You can even set up some goals and play soccer. The store cupboard has any equipment you might need.

| The Island |
| The Courtyard
A small stone-floored area surrounded by picket fence is just outside the back doors of the school. There's everything from benches to a tree swing. It's a great place for some privacy and peaceful quiet time.

| The Lake (1 sub-board)
A huge lake sits in the middle of the grounds, deep and dark in the middle but knee-length around the edges. It's a great place to swim if you don't want to go out to the beach. It's also very romantic at sunset. If you keep your eyes pealed, you might see one of the mysterious creatures that lives there.

| The Forest
A huge forest circles the outside of the island. The outskirts are very light and clear, but it gets denser the further in you go. There's a variety of plant and animal life, and it's always great to explore in.

| The Beach
The island is surrounded by white, sandy beaches, only about twenty minutes walk through the forest. If you go far enough along, you'll find a variety of rockpools and boulders to climb. The sea can be very cold in winter, but beautifully warm and wavy in the summer.
