Welcome to the Elemental School for Misfits! I actually made this site a while ago, but it went inactive. So now, after a few heartwrenching years of sadness and regret, I returned to my beloved forum. I've given it a makeover, and now it's ready for a wave of new and active members! A plotline will start when there are enough characters. So waltz in, have a look around and maybe think about joining!

Ash didn't quite know why she was here. She hadn't been able to sleep, so at two in the morning she'd dragged herself here on autopilot. Now she sat, hugging her knees, on one of the benches that lined the walls of the Observatory, leaning against the hard, cool plaster and staring up at the stars. She was still wearing her pyjamas with no sweater or dressing gown, but she wasn't cold.

There were virtually no stars in London, where she lived when she wasn't at school. There were street lamps, electric lights and neon signs, but no stars. Here, in the middle of nowhere, what seemed like the entire galaxy was on display. It was incredible to think that those miniscule dots were giant balls of fire a hundred times bigger than the Earth. The moon was full and shining silver. Ash had been here most of the year for five years now, and she was still amazed by the view from the Observatory.

Her watch beeped and she glanced down at it. Two thirty. She'd been here for half an hour now, stock still, staring upwards with wide, hazel eyes. It was magical in here, timeless. She could be here for weeks and it would seem like minutes. She returned her gaze to the sky.

Vincent was walking up the staircase. Under his arm was a thermos flask and in his hand he held a book about energy in the human body. This was partly to prepare his lessons and just for relaxation aswell. His plans were to go to the observatory around midnight but on the way he met some students he talked to for a while and on top of that he got lost for an hour. So it was two thirty when Vincent finally reached the observatory.

This took him back to where he was still a student. During the days he didn't had classes he also snuck out at night to read in the observatory. The stars gave enoug light to read and it was also a spectacular sight to behold. When Vincent reached the door and opened it he saw another person sitting there, gazing up to the stars. Stepping silent like a cat the professor approached the person, wich seemed to be a small girl. When he was a few feet away from the girl he spoke "A beautifull sight to behold isn't it?" Vincent spoke with a friendly voice. A small smile appeared on his face. Slowly he started to stroke over his goatee. "I used to spent a couple of nights here to when I was still a student." Vincent appeared to sit down altough there was no seat beneath him. Then almost at the point he would fall over a comfy chair from Vincent's office appeared catching the professor. " Oh sorry. I was so busy bringing up memories I forgot to introduce myself. I'm Vincent Maes, professor in Power Manipulation, pleased to meet you."
